I was digging through some old negatives from 10 years ago, and came across this beautiful photo of the Dead Sea in Israel. I can’t believe it’s been 10 years already… Shot with Imation HP 400 35mm film. (no idea where I got that film)

Kodak Duaflex II TLR {Experimental}

Don’t you love shooting film? I especially love experimenting with older cameras… one of those being the Kodak Duaflex II. The film format is 620, which they don’t make anymore, so I have to re-spool 120 film onto a 620 spool… which is a bit difficult… anyway, this was from a recent roll that I developed. I love how you can never quite predict what you are going to get with this camera… All the light leaks give it character, ya… character… enjoy.

What a beautiful wedding! Thank you to Lurel and Sam for thinking of me for their wedding. We had a nice shoot in the Thanksgiving Point Gardens, then we went strait to the reception at Hidden Falls. I thoroughly enjoyed myself, and I wish the best for the two of them!

What an awesome wedding! Lisa and Josh were great to work with, and so were their guests. The wedding location was at the Red Pine Lodge at The Canyons in Park City, Utah. It was a beautiful day for a wedding, and I really enjoyed my time up there. Thank you two for letting me be part of your big day! I had the GREAT pleasure and opportunity to shoot Wyatt, Jamie and Jaxton while they were in town for a visit. Wyatt is a long-time friend from when I was growing up in Florida, and he and his family came to visit us this week from Texas. I had a great time on this shoot, and I think they did too! Disneyland Vacation!

Well, I haven’t posted to the blog in a while, mostly due to the fact that we have been in California on vacation! We had an excellent time, but for Miles, it could’ve been much better… he broke his arm while we were there! Ha crawled off a bed in our hotel room and landed on his elbow, fracturing his humerus. He had emergency surgery at CHOC (Children’s Hospital of Orange County) and stayed the night there. The next day? Back at it! We continued our vacation, and it seemed Miles was having a great time, even with a broken arm… of course he was taking a lot of codeine. Anyway, I’m glad that we could go and share some time with Miles and “Grammy and Pop-pop” before the new addition to our family arrives in October. Enjoy the fotitos.

Cali’s Bridals – Thanksgiving Point, UT

Taking Cali’s bridals was a treat! We shot at Thanksgiving Point in the late afternoon, and pretty much had the entire place to ourselves. Sarah and Keith’s wedding was an absolute blast! Everyone was awesome, and the wedding was beautiful! Shooting in Anchorage was ideal for lighting, especially for an outdoor wedding, since it doesn’t get dark until after midnight. All of these shots were natural lighting, and some of the reception shots were taken well after 10:30pm! Thank you to everyone for your hospitality, and especially for Sarah and Keith for letting me be part of their big day. Congratulations you two!

Golf Weekend

A few weeks ago, my Dad, Brother and I drove to Mesquite, NV and played 4 rounds of golf in 3 days. Though it was 100 degrees+ the whole trip, it was a lot of fun! Especially taking all of their money. Better luck next time guys.

I was able to go out and shoot my cousin Mikki’s family last week, and the shoot went great! Henry did awesome, and stayed happy pretty much the whole time. We almost got some rain, but the lighting was excellent!

Side note: This was part of the first order that I have ever sent to Richard Photo Lab in CA, and I have to say… awesome work. I’ll be sending my film there from now on.
